The pair made up of Víctor and Cuairan from La Rioja have won the tenth edition of the Bodegas Tarón Handball Tournament, after clearly beating Retegi Bi (who repeated in the final) and Irusta at the Adarraga pelota court in Logroño by a score of 13-22.

Since the 6th of August in Tirgo, the six pairs of Garfe pelotaris have given us five exciting matches that have delighted the spectators in the most representative frontons of La Rioja. After the first two quarter finals in Tirgo (6th August) and Navarrete (14th August), the Tournament has moved on to the Territorio Tarón, with semi-finals in Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón (17th August) and Sajazarra (24th August).

After ten years of existence, the Tarón Tournament is already more than established in the agenda of pelota in La Rioja. ‘From Bodegas Tarón, we continue to support this sport that brings us so many victories and joys. As tradition dictates, the winning pair of pelotaris of this tenth edition of the Tournament will receive their weight in wine from Bodegas Tarón, in a ceremony that will take place soon in our winery.
