The pair made up of Retegi Bi and Aldave have won the ninth edition of the Bodegas Tarón Handball Tournament after beating Elizalde and Bergera at the Adarraga pelota court in Logroño at the start of the Fiestas Mateas. The final ended with a 22-11 scoreline and after a match dominated by the Navarrese team.
Since 14 August in Navarrete, the six pairs of Garfe pelotaris have given us five exciting matches that have delighted the spectators in the most representative frontons of La Rioja. After the first day in Navarrete, the Tournament has travelled around the Tarón Territory, taking place in Tirgo (16th August), Cuzcurrita (19th August) and Sajazarra (26th August).

As tradition dictates, the winning pair of pelotaris of this ninth edition of the Tournament will receive their weight in wine from Bodegas Tarón, in a ceremony that will take place soon in our winery.
