Bodegas Tarón Named ‘Cooperative of the Year’ Once Again by Tim Atkin MW
10/02/2026Bodegas Tarón has just opened its Wine Bar, a space where visitors and the general public can sample the winery’s wines by the glass, accompanied by traditional Riojan snacks. This Wine Bar is intended to be a new meeting place within Territorio Tarón: a venue open to local residents, wine tourists, cooperative members and anyone else interested in enjoying its wines.
Bodegas Tarón’s new Wine Bar offers a selection ranging from young wines to the winery’s top-of-the-range wines. Here, you can enjoy exclusive wines such as Territorio Tarón, Cepas Centenarias, Patiens, Tempranillo Blanco, Finca Zabaleta and Pantocrátor.
Furthermore, for those who wish to buy a specific wine but are unsure which one to choose, there is also the option of a ‘light’ tasting, a format that allows you to sample several wines in small quantities (50 ml per glass) to compare styles.
The food and wine menu also includes a selection of accompaniments such as a selection of artisan cheeses, a charcuterie platter, anchovies, tinned mussels and artisan olives.

Opening hours: Bodegas Tarón Wine Bar
The Wine Bar is open from April to November (both months inclusive), Wednesday to Saturday from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm.
During these opening hours, anyone can visit the venue without needing to take a guided tour or book in advance.
All in all, Bodegas Tarón’s Wine Bar is designed to be a new meeting place: a direct way to discover the wines and the region that inspires them.
