The Taron brand is already present in 20 countries in America, Asia and Europe.

Internationalisation is one of the key elements in the commercial strategy of Bodegas Tarón. This time of year is undoubtedly the time of year with the highest number of events and fairs, and our winery is present at the most important ones. Thanks to this, the Tarón brand can now be found in 20 countries in America, Asia and Europe, without losing sight of opening up to new ones.

In recent weeks, we have attended the Barcelona Wine Week fair, which is of great importance to us because Catalonia is a market in which we have a very strong presence and distribution network. We can also mention the German Prowein, where we met with clients, mainly European, to whom we were able to show the new products that will be launched this year. A great place to meet friends, and which always leaves the door open to expand business and markets where we are not yet represented.

When it comes to making contacts, we must highlight the Wine Trade Mission, a reverse mission organised by the Rioja Business Federation, which invited 30 importers from 11 countries (from the EU, America and Asia) to get to know the wines of our region. A great opportunity to present our winery to these new customers and clear possibilities to open markets.

Finally, this year we were again invited by our British importer Ellis Wines to participate with our wines in the Portfolio Tasting organised at the majestic Royal Opera House in London.

At these fairs and events we have presented the new wines that will soon be launched on the market. There are two of them: Finca Zabaleta, an estate wine from a vineyard of only 2 hectares located in Castilseco, and Territorio Tarón, a wine in which we have put a lot of hope and which we are going to elaborate each vintage with the best plots of the four villages.

In America, Asia and Europe

Bodegas Tarón is currently present in markets in 20 countries in America, Asia and Europe. The aim is to consolidate these markets, mainly the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark, with a view to opening new markets where we are not yet known. In this sense, in the last two years we have established ourselves in South American countries such as Peru, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Brazil. Lastly, we are continuing to strengthen our positions in Asian markets such as China, Japan, Korea and Singapore, which were weakened during the coronavirus pandemic.
