Wine making and ageing
The grapes are harvested by hand in 15 kg crates. On arrival at the winery, they go through a selection table where grapes or parts of bunches that do not meet the quality requirements for production are discarded. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, with daily batonnages until its completion and subsequent malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
18 months in French oak. At the end, it is transferred to the bottle and rests in a bottle rack, with controlled temperature and humidity, for at least another 18 months before its release to the market.
Intense cherry red cherry colour with a very high robe, reflecting its concentration. On the nose, the intensity is overwhelming. Ripe red fruits stand out, enveloped in suggestive notes of liqueur bonbon. On the palate, the wine stands out for its great volume and a silky, enveloping texture, that fills the palate with elegance. The tannins, ripe and polished, play a leading role: they provide structure and depth, showing a smoothness and maturity that reinforce the harmony of the whole.
