Patiens 2016, in its double meaning of patient and suffering, perfectly defines the eternal cycle in which the old Viura vines, planted in dry soil and exposed to the harsh climate of the Obarenes Mountains, give us a very limited production of very valuable clusters.
Patiens 2016 is a single varietal Viura obtained from small plots of vines aged between 50 and 90 years old, located in the Tarón area, in the winery’s surroundings. The vines are bush-trained and planted in clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 550 to 600 metres above sea level.

It has a bright straw yellow colour. The nose is subtle at first, but gradually develops elegant and complex aromas with notes of pastry, sweet spices and a slight herbal nuance.
